Burgundy Rose (Rosa centifolia burgundiaca). A hand-coloured stipple engraving from Pierre-Joseph Redouté's Les Roses, the cabbage rose he recorded as the Cent-feuilles de Bordeaux, gently restored and presented on a cream mat with a fine gilt fillet. The plate is shown at a size faithful to the scan, not upscaled. Reproduction of a public domain work.
